Terms of Service

1. About ALLY

ALLY (the "Service") is a personal AI assistant available at app.allyforlife.ai, which helps with organizing documents, finances, calendar, email, and other personal matters.

The Service is provided by David Rewenda, Czech Republic (the "Provider").

2. Registration and Account

• By registering, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.
• You are responsible for the security of your password and all activities on your account.
• One person = one account. Account sharing is prohibited.
• If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at [email protected].

3. Subscription and Payments

ALLY is available in several plans:

Current prices are always available in the app under Settings → Subscription.

3.1 Billing

• Payments are charged monthly or annually in advance.
• Payments are processed by Stripe – a secure payment platform.
• Invoices are sent by email after each payment.

3.2 Cancellation and Refunds

• Subscription can be cancelled at any time in Settings → Subscription → Cancel.
• After cancellation, access remains active until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds for unused periods are not standard, except in the case of a proven technical error on the Provider's part.
• Within the first 7 days of your first payment, you are entitled to a full refund (by email to [email protected]).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ALLY for:

• Uploading, storing, or sharing unlawful content (recordings without consent, illegal material)
• Violating third-party intellectual property rights
• Automated access without consent (bots, scraping)
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or access other users' data
• Overloading the infrastructure (DoS/DDoS)
• Spreading malware or malicious code
• Commercial resale of the Service or its outputs without written consent

5. Content and Data

5.1 Your Data

All content you upload to ALLY (documents, photos, financial records) remains your property. You grant the Provider a non-exclusive license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI assistants (summaries, analyses, recommendations) serves as a tool only. It is not legal, financial, or medical advice. Always verify important decisions with qualified professionals.

5.3 Backups

We recommend regularly exporting your data. The Provider performs infrastructure backups but does not guarantee zero data loss in the event of an outage.

6. Google API Services

ALLY integrates with Google Calendar via the Google Calendar API. By connecting your Google account, you agree that ALLY will read and write calendar events on your behalf. ALLY's use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings → Google Calendar → Disconnect.

7. Availability and SLA

• We strive for 99% Service availability (measured monthly).
• Planned maintenance will be announced in advance via a status page or email.
• We are not responsible for outages caused by third parties (OpenAI, Google, Railway).

8. Third-Party Integrations

ALLY allows connection with external services (Google Calendar, IMAP email). By connecting these services:

• You confirm that you are authorized to use the given account.
• You agree to the terms of the respective third party.
• You acknowledge that integration availability depends on the third party.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of AI output accuracy.
• The Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
• The Provider's total liability to an individual user shall not exceed the fees paid for the Service in the last 12 months.

These limitations do not apply to damages caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the Provider.

10. Intellectual Property

• ALLY, its logo, design, and source code are protected by the Provider's copyright.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written consent.
• Feedback and suggestions you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation of compensation.

11. Account Termination

11.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently removed within 30 days (except data retained for legal reasons).

11.2 By the Provider

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the event of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment of subscription after 14 days from the due date
• Suspected fraud or abuse of the Service

We will notify you of account termination by email at least 7 days in advance (except in cases of serious Terms violations).

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes will be resolved preferably out of court. For EU consumers, the online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13. Changes to Terms

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days in advance. If you disagree with the changes, you have the right to cancel your subscription without penalty. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
